By accessing or using the Website or the Application (collectively, the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use.
If you do not agree with these Terms, you should not use the Service.
1. What the Website and Hydra are (and are not)
hydracheckin.com is the official website providing information, licensing, and access to Hydra.
Hydra is a check-in application designed to validate event tickets and manage attendee access.
Hydra does not sell tickets, process payments, or act as a ticketing platform.
You are solely responsible for how you use Hydra in connection with your event, including ticketing, attendee data, and on-site operations.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into binding agreements to use the Service.
3. Accounts and access
Access to Hydra may require credentials such as API keys or license keys.
You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure. Any activity performed using your credentials is considered your responsibility.
4. Licensing and payments
All licensing, payments, billing information, and customer data related to purchases on hydracheckin.com are processed and managed exclusively by our official reseller, Freemius.
Neither hydracheckin.com nor Hydra directly collect or store:
Payment information
Billing addresses
Customer personal data entered during purchase
Your use of licensed features in Hydra is subject to the terms and conditions of Freemius.
5. Refund policy
Refunds apply to Hydra licenses purchased via hydracheckin.com.
You may request a refund within 7 days of purchase under the following condition:
The total number of check-ins performed using the license in Hydra does not exceed 100 attendees
Refund requests that do not meet this condition will not be approved.
Refunds are not applicable to license renewals.
All refund requests are handled through Freemius as the official reseller and payment processor.
6. Data and responsibility
Hydra processes attendee data provided by you or your connected systems (e.g., WordPress via Hydra Bridge).
You are the data controller for any attendee data processed through Hydra.
You are responsible for:
Ensuring you have the legal right to use that data
Informing attendees about how their data is used
Complying with applicable data protection laws
7. Data access and architecture
Hydra is designed with a decentralized architecture.
Hydra (as an application and service) does not transmit attendee data through hydracheckin.com servers.
We do not have access to:
Attendee personal data
Ticket data
Any private or sensitive information exchanged between the Hydra application and your server (e.g., via Hydra Bridge)
All such data is exchanged directly between your devices and your own infrastructure.
8. What we never see
To be explicit:
We do not see your attendees.
We do not see your tickets.
We do not see what happens at your event.
Hydra operates as a direct connection between your devices and your system, not through our servers.
9. Offline functionality
Hydra may store attendee data locally on devices to enable offline check-in.
You are responsible for securing devices used with Hydra. We are not responsible for data loss, duplication, or inconsistencies caused by offline usage or synchronization behavior.
10. Service availability
We aim to keep hydracheckin.com available and Hydra functional, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
Hydra is a tool. The success of your event operations depends on your setup, hardware, and environment.

Loss of revenue, data, or business
Event disruptions or operational issues
Any indirect or consequential damages
