What is Hydra Bridge?
Hydra Bridge is a WordPress plugin that enables communication between your website and the Hydra Check-in App.
It acts as a unified interface between your ticketing system and the app, exposing the required data for:
- event listing
- attendee retrieval
- check-in processing
All configuration and access control are handled inside the plugin.
Setup wizard
After the first installation, a setup wizard is displayed.
The wizard provides a guided way to configure the plugin, including initial setup steps required for the app to connect and operate correctly.
The wizard can be canceled at any time. All settings remain accessible within the plugin, and the setup can be completed manually without any limitations.
Plugin structure
Hydra Bridge is organized into three main sections:
General
The General section contains the core plugin settings.
This includes basic configuration required for the plugin to function and communicate with the Hydra Check-in App.
GATE keys
The GATE keys section is used to create and manage GATE keys.
Each GATE key defines a specific access scope that the Hydra Check-in App can use when connecting to the site.
Telemetry
The Telemetry section provides insight into plugin activity.
This includes information such as:
- connected devices
- number of check-ins
- general usage statistics
Notes
- The plugin must be installed and active for the app to connect
- Configuration can be done via the setup wizard or manually
- All sections are accessible at any time after installation
